1975 - 1976	Photo assistant of photographer Bernd Brenken, Paris, France and New York, U.S.A
1977 To Current	Freelance photographer for Bunte, Esquire, Focus, German Vogue, Ouick, Sipa, Stern, The New York Times, Die Welt and many more Photo reports in Afghanistan, Canada, India, North Africa, Pakistan, Sarajevo, Somalia, Soviet Union, Spain, U.S.A., and other countries
1996 To Current	Bernd in New York and is contributing photographer at Corbis and at SLP Stock Photo Agency, which includes marketing arrangements with TimePix. He has already published three books about New York. 2010 resides in Hamburg, Germany.
